Beyond the Great Abu Simbel Temple's Hypostyle Hall is this room leading to the innermost chamber (see photo below)

The innermost chamber in the temple has four seated figures: Ramses II
(to the left of center and with a beard) flanked by three seated gods -- Ptah,
the god of the underworld ; Amen-Ra, the patron god of the capital city
Thebes and Ha-Rakhte (in the right shadows), a form of the hawk-like sun
god Horus. The chamber is illuminated by sunlight at the fall and spring
equinox to commemorate the birthday and coronation dates of Ramses II.
This room is called the Holy of Holies, which only the high priests,
pharoah and viewers of this web site are allowed to enter !
