Biography
When I was young I liked to watch the night sky with all its beautiful stars and planets.  However, I could not afford a telescope until March, 2000 when I bought a Meade ETX90EC.  With this telescope I was able to see the disks and moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn for the first time  -- what a thrill!  Unfortunately, unlike during my youth, the light pollution in Hong Kong is now so bad that I can only see about 5 bright stars with the naked eye.  I am primarily interested in solar astronomy which I do every clear day from the back stairs window of my 36-story apartment building in the heart of Hong Kong.  For deep sky observing I go to the less light polluted suburb of Sai Kung.
