Background
I
have been photographing the night sky and environs for over 18 years. I
have been fortunate enough to have my images published in local, national
and international publications, a music CD cover, corporate brochures and
annual reports. Image awards include the 1995 Texas Star Party "Best Deep
Sky Photograph", the 1989 NCRAL astrophotography contest,
Astronomy
magazine's "Best Astrophoto Award", and a finalist in
LIFE
magazine's "1999 Alfred Eisenstaedt Awards For Magazine Photography". I
currently live with my wife Jennifer on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. My
images are represented by Photo Researchers, Inc. stock agency, the world
leader in space & scientific photography.
Areas of interest
Deep-sky & aurora photography along
with lunar & planetary webcam imaging. I also enjoy fine-art landscape as
well as portraiture and wedding photography.
