Jupiter, Great Red Spot and moon Ganymede, Sept 7, 2023

Jupiter photographed from my backyard in Los Angeles, CA on September 7, 2023 (12 hours UT).  Jupiter's Great Red Spot is seen near the meridian and Galilean moon Ganymede -- the largest moon in our solar system -- is at the top of the photo near Jupiter's south pole.  The photo was flipped so North is down and South up.

Photographic Data

Telescope:
Celestron EdgeHD 9.25-inch SCT with 2X Barlow at f/20 (FL= 4,700 mm)

Camera:
ZWO ASI533MC-Pro one-shot color camera with ZWO IR-cut filter was used with the telescope.  A video capture of about 100 seconds was made and the frames stacked in Asiair Plus.
 
Video Exposure:
About 100 seconds video at 1280 X 960 resolution. 

Post Processing:
Stacked & sharpened from video frames with Asiair Plus
Cropped and processed with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021

Jupiter on the night of 9-7-2023 after the one above showing moon Ganymede moving to the left (east).  North is down.
