M64 "Blackeye Galaxy"
with Celestron 9.25-inch EdgeHD SCT at f/7 from Los Angeles
version 1

M64 "The Blackeye Galaxy" is 17 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.  It is a relatively bright galaxy of magnitude 9.3, but difficult to photograph from my light polluted Los Angeles backyard.
