Minuteman II rocket vapor trail
On Saturday October 2, 1999 the US Air Force launched a
Minuteman II rocket from Vandenberg AFB. The Minuteman ICBM
was launched at 19:01 PDT so its vapor trail was backlit by
the setting sun. This condition resulted in the light being
dispersed into a spectrum.
Photographic Data:
I used a Canon Elan II camera with 35-135 Canon zoom lens and
Kodak Royal Gold 400 film.
