The Scutum Star Cloud
Astronomer E.E. Barnard called the Scutum Star Cloud  "The Gem of the Milky Way".  It is a "strawberry shaped" section of the Milky Way
surrounded by dark nebulosity.  Its northern tip of golden stars is located near the bight star Beta Scuti (at 11 o'clock).  The open star cluster
M11 can be seen on the left.  North is up.
