Total Solar Eclipse of July 11,1991 from San Jose del Cabo, Baja California, Mexico
It lasted for 6 minutes and 53 seconds at the point of maximum eclipse.  This is slightly longer than the eclipse of July 22, 2009 (6 minutes and 39 seconds) and under better weather conditions (from Mexico).  Both eclipses are similar in length (very long) because they are one Saros Cycle apart -- about 18 years 11 days 8 hours (approximately 6585⅓ days)

The Moon recedes from the Earth at an average rate of 3.8 cm per year, so many years (600 million ?) in the future there will be no more total solar eclipses.
