Romanche Glacier along the Beagle Channel
The Romanche Glacier is located north of Gordon Island in the Alberto de Agostini National Park
.
The Beagle Channel is named after the brig H.M.S. Beagle, but not in honor of Darwin's voyage.  FitzRoy, the captain of H.M.S. Beagle had named the channel after his ship on a previous charting voyage in 1830.
