The Terracotta Warriors
near Xian
Located 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin
Shi Huang's Mausoleum, Lintong County, Shaanxi Province,
Xian. In 246 BC, Qin Shi Huang, later the first
Emperor of all China, had begun work on this mausoleum. He
and his Terracotta soldiers and support gear were buried
there in about 210 BC. he Terracotta Army was
discovered in March 1974.
