Vieux Lyon (old Lyon), Lyon France
Covering an area of 24 hectares at the foot of the Fourvière hill,
Vieux Lyon in 1954 became the first protected historic district in France.
It is one of the largest Renaissance quarters in Europe and was named a
UNESCO World Heritage site in 1998.
