About Cheviot Hills
Cheviot Hills is a residential
neighborhood in west Los Angeles, California named
after the range of rolling hills separating England from Scotland. Its
northern border is Rancho Park and Hillcrest Country Club, followed by
Century City, Twentieth Century Fox Studios and Beverly Hills. Its
southern border is Manning Ave. and Palms, followed by Culver City and
Sony Picture Studios (formerly Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer). It has been home to
several celebrities such as Stan Laurel, Buster Keaton, Phil Silvers,
Agnes Moorehead, Jack Paar and Lucille Ball. Recent celebrity residents
have included Michelle Phillips, Glenn Danzig, the late Ray Bradbury
and former Governor Pete Wilson.
