Inuyama Castle, Japan
Inuyama Castle completed in 1440 is often claimed as the oldest castle in Japan. Located north of Nagoya, Honshu Japan, it stands atop a small hill next to the Kiso River, and offers great views of the surrounding region. Today it is one of only four castles which are designated national treasures. The other three are Himeji Castle, Matsumoto Castle and Hikone Castle.
