Michael A. Stecker
Los Angeles National Cemetery The Los Angeles National Cemetery lies just west of the UCLA Westwood campus and adjacent to the Veteran's Administration Hospital and Federal Building on Wilshire Boulevard. The cemetery, dedicated on May 22, 1889, encompasses 114 acres where veterans from several wars and conflicts are interred. The chapel at the cemetery was renamed the Bob Hope Veterans Chapel on May 29, 2002 (Hope's 99th birthday), in "celebration of his lifelong service to our American Veterans".
