The Presidio of San Francisco Officers' Club (photo
from) is now part of the National Parks Service at the foot
of the Golden Gate Bridge. Its front wings incorporate portions of
the Spanish presidio's adobe walls that may
date as far back as 1791. I had dinner in the club in 1971.
