Cave Nebula
The Cave Nebula (Sharpless-155) is a dim emission nebula in Cepheus. It is the concave
border on the upper left of the image that gives this nebula its descriptive nick name.

Photographic Data: An Astrophysics 155 mm f/7 EDF refractor and 35 mm camera were
used with hypersensitized Kodak Pro 400 PPF film. Two 50-minute exposures were made
centered at RA 22 hrs, 57 min and Declination +62.5 degrees. The field of view is 1.2 x 1.0
degree and north is up. The negatives were stacked, processed, and cropped in the computer.
