It is thought that there were six Weiss brothers and one sister (Rose nee:Weiss Mandel).  Five of the brothers emigrated from Galicia (Austro-Hungary) to the USA -- David, Solomon, Samuel, Morris/Moshe Aaron and Bernard.  David settled in Tennessee, Solomon in Brooklyn, NY and Samuel & Bernard in New York City.  Brother Jacob (Yaakov Yitzchak) stayed in Galicia near what is today the area south of Sanok, Poland, but his children came to America.

Recent research of 2018 suggest Benjamin Weiss had seven children -- David Weiss of Tennessee, his 5 brothers
(Solomon, Samuel, Bernard, Jacob (YY), Morris Aaron) and one sister Rose nee: Weiss Mandel.
