NGC 891 -- edge-on galaxy

NGC 891
NGC 891 is an "edge-on" galaxy thought to be similar to our own Milky Way.  It is about 30 million light-years from earth. This was a 2.2-hour exposure from my Los Angeles backyard with a 9.25-inch telescope at f/7.
