Photos in Section 1 (top) were taken with a Canon A620 digital P&S camera in aperture priority mode at iso 100 from home gardens in Cheviot Hills (West Los Angeles), California.  Photos 17, 24 and 32 were taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D) and Sigma 50 mm f/2.8 macro lens. Photos in Section 2 (bottom) were taken with a Fuji F31fd small pocket-size digital camera at iso 400.
