IC 2177 "Seagull Nebula"
IC 2177 the "Seagull Nebula " was shot by James Foster from his dark-sky observatory. It was done with my Askar 103 APO (4-inch triplet refractor at f/5.5) and a full frame color ZWO ASI6200MC-Pro Astro camera. The dark site reveals more color, contrast and dark and bright nebulosity than I can achieve from light polluted Los Angeles with similar equipment. This is a mild crop of the full frame photo.T
