![]() Cropped version of LDN 1251 "Rotten Fish Nebula" in Cepheus -- version 2 LDN1251, known as the "Rotten Fish" nebula, is a dusty dark nebula in Cepheus composed of carbon and silicate with some ionized hydrogen. This cropped photo is a joint project of James Foster and Michael Stecker shot with a Sky-Watcher Quattro 250P 10-inch f/4 Newtonian telescope with a ZWO ASI6200MM-Pro full-frame monochrome astro-camera. Exposures were LRGB of 100, 66, 67, & 67 minutes (subs L:60sec, subs RGB:100sec).
