Faulkes Telescope
.
The Faulkes Telescope project funded by The Faulkes Corporation has made available a 2-meter telescope for schools, museums and amateur astronomers. The telescope located atop 10,000 ft Mt. Haleakala in Maui Hawaii is one of the New Generation of Astronomical Telescopes (NGAT) designed by the Royal Greenwich Observatory prior to its closure. The design has been taken up by Telescope Technologies Limited (TTL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of John Moores University (JMU) in Liverpool.  Further information regarding the telescope, CCD and requirements for use can be found at:
