Cedrblad 214 in Cepheuss

 Cederblad 214 (aka: Sh2-171) is part of NGC 7822, a large emission nebula located in northern Cepheus, which is actually the northernmost emission nebula in the sky. To be precise, the brightest patch of nebulosity at the left is named Cederblad 214. The complex is believed to be about 3'000 light-years from Earth with the younger components aged no more than a few million years. This cropped image is a joint project of James Foster and Michael Stecker using a Sky-Watcher Quattro 250P 10-inch f/4 Newtonian telescope with a ZWO ASI6200MC-Pro full frame color camera and an exposure time of 3.7 hours (200 sec X 68). Prtocessing software used was PixInsight 1.93, Blur-Exterminator,
MaximDL, PSCS6 with Star Shrink Filter and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2012.
