NGC 2264, Cone Nebula, "Christmas Tree Cluster" and Fox Fur  in Monoceros
Located about 2,500 light-years away in the constellation Monoceros is the Christmas Tree Cluster and Cone Nebula that are often grouped together under the catalog number NGC 2264 and Sh2-273.  This cropped image is a joint project of James Foster and Michael Stecker.
