NGC 2264 "Christmas Tree Cluster" and Cone Nebula in Monoceros
Located about 2,500 light-years away in the constellation Monoceros is the Christmas Tree Cluster and Cone Nebula that are often grouped together under the catalog number NGC 2264.  This cropped image is a joint project of James Foster and Michael Stecker.
