NGC 6520 and B86 in Sagittarius
Looking south toward the center of our Milky Way galaxy is the Large Sagittarius Star cloud. In its north is star cluster NGC 6520 and nearby dark nebula Barnard-86 (B86). This cropped image is a joint project of James Foster and me using my Celestron 11-inch SC telescope at f/7. Exposures through filtered ZWO ASI6200MM-Pro monochrome camera were 24, 27, 26 minutes RGB respectively.
