Seahorse Nebula (B150)

Seahorse Nebula (B150) in Cepheus
The Seahorse Nebula (Barnard 150) is a dark dusty nebula located in the constellation Cepheus about 1200 light years away from Earth. The dark nebula, about 1° long, is adjacent to three brown-colored dense gas cores labeled L1082 A, B and C where stars are being formed. This is a joint project of James Foster and Michael Stecker using a 10-inch f/4 Newtonian telescope, ZWO ASI 2600MC-Pro color camera and 11.6-hour exposure.
